You may also wonder why we use tins instead of glass. The primary reason for this is to ensure that we can keep shipping costs as low as possible. This in turn keeps the prices down for all of our customers. This also ensure that the product comes in one piece and doesn't require large amounts of bubble wrap that doesn't need to be added to the landfill. Glass also is a large contributor to landfills and it doesn't break down, just like plastics. Our candle tins, wicks, wax and everything else will all break down in a relatively short period of time. Or to put it plainly, tins are perfectly suited to a company that focuses on simplicity without compromising on quality.
